They would provide a large labor pool. Capital needs labor. South Korea enjoys a vibrant economy and exports products world wide.

Skills are learned. North Koreans apparently know how to follow orders and take "direction" :-)

Seriously, these peoples share a long cultural history, traditions and a common language. It would all work itself out over time...IMO.
