For Skype (at least) there should be a workaround using notification scripts and switching
profiles as in https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Bluetooth_headset#Switch_between_HSV_and_A2DP_setting
for ex.:
pacmd set-card-profile 2 a2dp
