Well, I'm not happy with the status and importance either. However, Daniel T Chen is a member of the audio integration team, so I presume he has better judgement than me.

It certainly is not a "Wishlist". The behaviour is definitely not normal in comparison with current and previous Ubuntu and Debian releases.

It certainly isn't "Incomplete". My Jaunty system is less than 24 hours old, so unless changes have been built into today's LiveCD or uploaded into the Jaunty repos, the behaviour I and others have been experiencing is current and not the result of an outdated package or configuration.
