In relation to LibreELEC, this is correct.

https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=103299 should not have been closed as a duplicate of this issue and is unrelated (I've reopened it for that reason).

It seems that nobody really knows what has changed in the 4.13 kernel that causes this issue with Cherrytrail hardware, but it almost certainly isn't anything to do with PulseAudio.
