Because the "RFC 3041 Considered Harmful" ID hasn't been refreshed since 2004, I wonder if all of the issues it raises have been addressed in the new RFC4941. I also wonder if the Linux kernel has been updated to address any differences between RFC3041 and RFC4941. (I haven't read the RFCs yet, so I'm not sure how they differ.)
