Bug Description
I used cut&paste to copy an URL into a pidgin window containing a chat using the SIP: protocol.
I then manually edited the URL, and pressed return
Several tests with the receiver of the message showed that the subsequent manual edits to the URL are being discarded
Example:
Cut & paste of
http://
to the SIP chat,
remove the training "ig?hl=de", press return.
My own window shows:
http://
the receiver still gets:
http://
This ONLY happens via SIP:, switching to a jabber transport works just fine.
