I have the same issue. Stuck at "Removing conflicting operating system files..."

My setup is:

NTFS - Recovery
NTFS - Diagnostics
Ext4 - /home (not to be formatted)
Extended Partition
   Ext4 - / (to be formatted)
   Swap (to be formatted)
