Comment 29 for bug 216990

I suspect this issue is related to something causing one of my servers to hang when serving files through samba. Certainly it is the only logged error, however as the whole machine hangs i may be losing log data. Have installed libpam-smbpass and am waiting to see if the machine hangs again.

I wonder whether part of the problem is in the updating (or the lack of updating) config files during the hardy upgrade.
