As detailed in an upstream announcement [0], the OVN 23.09.0 release is delayed. The estimated date for release is Friday September 15th.

This new upstream version includes fixes and new features that are important for our community, and we would like to include it in the Ubuntu Mantic release.

Our plan towards the Ubuntu release is the following:
- Upload a snapshot based on the upcoming 23.09 branch if FFe is ACK'd.
- As soon as the upstream release is cut we will upload a final package based on the released source artifacts.
