Hi Christopher
I installed libre office and it still seems to be doing the same
thing. I have had this problem since ubuntu 8.10
I have attached screenshots of the error and how to duplicate it. I
have also added the images to photobucket in case you cant access
them.
example 1
1.1: I type a sentence almost to the end of the line i893.photobucke t.com/albums/ ac138/ave3/ Screenshot11. jpg
http://
1.2: I then press space until the cursor gets to the very end i893.photobucke t.com/albums/ ac138/ave3/ Screenshot12. jpg
http://
1.3: press space once more and the cursor jumps back to the end of the i893.photobucke t.com/albums/ ac138/ave3/ Screenshot13. jpg
last word. If I press space 50x it will just stay here without moving.
http://
example 2
2.1: I type past the first line.
I then place the cursor at the end of the first line and press i893.photobucke t.com/albums/ ac138/ave3/ Screenshot21. jpg
space 10x- the cursor doesn't move.
http://
2.2: a) I then insert an additional word (hello) midway through the i893.photobucke t.com/albums/ ac138/ave3/ Screenshot22. jpg
first sentence.
b) only then does it insert the 10 spaces.
http://
unfortunately my pc isnt connected to the internet, so when I run
apport-collect 71612 is says it cannot connect to launchpad- is there
another way I can do this manually. Sorry im clueless when it come to
this kind of thing.
