The packages from http://people.ubuntu.com/~doko/ubuntu/ seems to be fixing this issue since 28/10.
Would it be possible to have them (or something including the same fix) distributed through the standard apt repositories as a bug fix for edgy?
This bug is really a huge showstopper for people using Linux on the desktop. It basically means that ubuntu edgy contrarily to any other Linux distro ships without a usable office application and cannot collaborate with people using ms office.
