After recently upgrading to 10.0.2+13-1ubuntu0.18.04.1 in bionic, all AWT applications have started failing with this exception: (using jedit as an example, but it happens for lots of apps):

Downgrading to 10.0.1+10-3ubuntu1 fixes the bug.
