Updates:

This problem come back again when I start back my PC just now. And I had to do back those crazy steps:

1) Press 'ESC' at the GRUB bootloader
2) Choose the current image but in 'Recovery Mode'
3) Pick 'xfix'
4) Resume normal boot

And then it goes as well....
