Under Ubuntu 22, I was trying to make NVIDIA CUDA work, but I can't because the only compatible mix of CUDA and drivers results in a virtual dependency problem.
The latest version of the nividia-drivers on my system is 510,for all packages newer than this the persistence daemon fails. No problem I suppose, I'll just install 510 and cuda-drivers-510.
Only that doesn't work, because apparently though this package is installed it doesn't rprovide any of the xorg-video-abi virtual packages like it did in prior versions.
sudo apt-get install cuda-drivers-510
