The issue there is a that nux-tools has a conffile that does
" /usr/lib/nux/unity_support_test || export LIBGL_ALWAYS_SOFTWARE=1"

When the package is removed but not purged the command fails and software rendering is enabled wrongly

Marco could you have a look, we should probably fix the script to not export the env if the helper is missing
