I just was struck by this bug too. Very annoying. Thankfully, plugging in a network cable gave me a working internet connection so I was able execute the downgrade as suggested in #39 without too much hassle. It's quite a serious show stopper bug that is hard to fix because it breaks the connection you need in order to fix it! Thanks Ovidiu-Florin BOGDAN for the workaround.
