Is this bug still present in 12.04?

The original report was about Ubuntu 8.04 Server (presumably not running NetworkManager) whereas Moritz's comment #1 was about 8.10 Desktop running NetworkManager.

Although 12.04 introduced resolvconf to manage /etc/resolv.conf we have a new report, bug #1013843, of nameserver addresses somehow getting lost during installation. #1013843 is about an Ubiquity install, thus, with NM.
