Comment 45 for bug 571707

First time automatically checking my disk on Lucid slowed down considerably at 70% too, but finally ended after like 20 minutes; while on Karmic it used to take less than 5 minutes.

No fresh install: I updated from Karmic to Lucid.

These are my outputs:
