What has worked for me:
Go to "System->Administration->Software Sources".
Under the "Updates" tab, check "Pre-released updates (intrepid-proposed)"
and "Unsupported updates (intrepid-backports)".
Run updates.
While this is less than ideal, I believe this quick and easy solution will
work for you. Please let us know if it doesn't.
