Agreed. It's a new laptop model. It isn't more than a month or two old. There was one BIOS update when I set it up initially just a little over week ago, which I did apply. The trackpad problem was there before that & it continued to be there even after update. When I read its release notes, that update was for some fluffy useless stuff (hardware RAID stuff, which I don't have anyway).
