Comment 36 for bug 1791427

The above fix has a chance of working only if one's blacklisf.conf (/etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf, on my Linux Mint system) does *not* to blacklist 'i2c_i801'. Debian did recently remove that blacklisting.
