As to, 'Can you use your touchpad/trackpoint': I can use the touchpad, except after S3 (not the 'modern standby'/Windows version) sleep; but if enable the track*point* in the BIOS, then the trackpad starts working very peculiarly indeed. Other people have had the latter problem.
