This gist contains a stack trace every 10 seconds taken with `echo l > /proc/sysrq-trigger` whilst the machine was spinning in the kernel but still responsive.
The machine remained responsive for 5-10 minutes before becoming totally unresponsive to network activity.
The test case just involves copying every sqlite file in a directory tree containing ~400GB of files of various sizes to new files in the same directory with `.new` on the end of the filename.
