In KDE system settings under input devices / touchpad settings it reports" Synaptics driver is not installed (or is not used)." However, the driver is installed.
tpconfig output below. (This is after upgrading to the 3.15.0 kernel):
sudo tpconfig -i

Firmware: 8.96 (multiple-byte mode).
Sensor type: unknown (0).
Geometry: rectangular/
Packets: absolute, 80 packets per second.
Corner taps disabled; no tap gestures.
Edge motion: none.
Z threshold: 6 of 7.
2 button mode; corner tap is right button click.

master@2r3z4r:~$ sudo tpconfig --tapmode=3

Tried setting "--tapmode" option but no luck.:
