Confirming, the problem seems to be solved.

Tested:

driver: dtoverlay=vc4-kms-v3d

uname -a
Linux u2110rpi 5.13.0-1010-raspi #11-Ubuntu SMP PREEMPT Thu Oct 28 08:32:52 UTC 2021 aarch64 aarch64 aarch64 GNU/Linux

No freeze for both Wayland and X11.
