I tried the following upstream kernel:

Linux XPS-13-9370 4.17.0-041700rc1-generic #201804152230 SMP Mon Apr 16 02:33:40 UTC 2018 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

and the bug is reproducible.
