Bryan, Martin - After chatting with Freescale I'm proposing to SRU the NEON detection patch to Karmic. Are you both still of the opinion that the ASEDIS fix for rev < 3 is still unnecessary ?

Oliver - will the uboot-imx supply the correct version since I assume the patch mentioned in https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-fsl-imx51/+bug/507416/comments/12 does not exist in karmic ?
