** Sorry christopher, spacing isn't kerning, please see explanations in my
previous message and attached odt file for difference. I used Baskervald
since this font use both kerning informations.

** it seems that kerning isn't activated in your screenshot. you have
just activate
it without make any spacing adjustment.

The question is to know if Libreoffice can read the GPOS table kerning
informations.
or standard kerning table only.
