Confirmed using:
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.10
Package: openoffice.org-core 1:3.1.1-5ubuntu1.1

However, could not reproduce with the latest daily build of lucid 10.4 (2010-02-24) and package openoffice.org-core 1:3.2.0rc4-1ubuntu1. The problem appears to be fixed there.
