To reproduce the bug:

1) Create a new query in design mode and add a table

2) add either all or some fields to the query by double clicking on the
list of fields that has appeared

3) set a limit to how many records should be displayed, either by
entering a value manually in the box at the top that says "All" or by
selecting a suggested value from the dropdown menu beside said box

4) run the query by pressing f5

normally it should display the records from the selected table equal to
the value that I set previously, but instead I get an "unexpected token"
error.
