As I understand it (might be wrong), the normal daily ISO is not the
correct one to test with because it is not based on the /proposed/
repository.

Looks like there are no normal ISOs available. Thus there is a /help.ubuntu. com/community/ Installation/ Netboot
requirement to set up a netboot environment, which is documented here:

However, the expected location for the /proposed/ netboot installer does archive. ubuntu. com/ubuntu/ dists/bionic- proposed/ main/installer- amd64/
not have recent enough version to include this fix:
