I can reproduce the behavior, but it's not an indicator-power issue. i-p is invoking g_spawn_command_line_async("gnome-power-statistics").

Wellark suggests this might be fixed by adding a call to gtk_window_set_position at http://git.gnome.org/browse/gnome-power-manager/tree/src/gpm-statistics.c#n1937
