No, I haven't managed to find ways to reproduce it. It happens quit regularly and causes a lot of delay when working with nautilus. The above suggestion for filling in the RAM/Memory is not enough to explain my problem, because I also have it without filling in the RAM and accessing the swap.
This bug also affects me using 12.10.
