I have created the HPLIP 3.10.6-0ubuntu1 package on 23 Jul 2010 on a Maverick box which did not get updated for some days. There the hp-toolbox worked perfectly. Then I updated the system and the crash happened. Seems to be caused by changes in packages coming in with the update (glib?).

I have reported this via apport as bug 610620. If this is the same, apport will soon mark it as a duplicate.
