LATEST VERSION TESTED: 3.0.0.1-0ubuntu3

Binary package hint: gwibber

It looks like bug #585134 is back. Gwibber opens links in the browser with the highest alternative priority instead of the default browser.

Micah, Please could you check if this issue is still affecting you because was fixed to me in some new release, at least with 3.0.0.1 is working fine here.

Running gwibber 3.0.0.1 in Lubuntu 11.04, links open in Google Chrome browser rather than my chosen default browser Firefox.

Found a way to fix it manually! Open a Konsole and type [code] sudo update-alternatives --config x-www-browser [/code]

You will be presented with a list of every browser on your installation, with the current default at the top. Type in the number on this list of the browser you prefer, hit enter ... it will now be your default browser in every application.
