Gwibber uses Opera instead of default Chromium

Bug Description

Binary package hint: gwibber

when clicking a link in Gwibber, it will be opened in Opera, but my default browser is Chromium.
how do i change that behaviour?

Thanks for spending the time to try and make ubuntu better.
Could you check if chromium is the defult browser in: System - Preferences - Prefered Applications?

With it set to Chromium in there Gwibber seems to works fine for me. Let me know if this doesn't work.

no, Chromium was my favorite browser and it doesn't work with Gwibber.

the only thing is, that if i choose Chromium from dropdown in prefered apps, Chromium says it isn't tzhe default browser and sets the prefered app to "/usr/lib/chromium-browser/chromium-browser %s"

but that can't be the problem because even with firefox as default, Gwibber uses Opera instead

In gnome-default-applications-properties please select chromium (not the custom thingy but chromium and then test if the issue is still there. I cant reproduce this bug

after the last update to 2.30.0.1 it works with the default browser.
bug is fixed

In my case my default browser is Chrome but Gwibber keeps opening links in Firefox 4 on Ubuntu 11.04..

in Natty with Gwibber 3.0.0.1 the problem seems to be solved!
