In addition to the following message to stdout:
> Cannot connect to server socket err = No such file or directory
> Cannot connect to server request channel
> jack server is not running or cannot be started
rhythmbox displays a message box reading
> Couldn't start playback
> Failed to create autoaudiosink element; check your GStreamer installation
