I have the same problem, however only on one computer. When I try to play mpc file with gstreamer 0.10 i get something like that:

Pipeline is PREROLLING ...
Pipeline is PREROLLED ...
Setting pipeline to PLAYING ...

With gst-launch-1.0 it's playing fine.
