All kernels since the 2.6.37-9 have the XEN_PRIVILEGED_GUEST set.
update-grub uses this criteria to check if the kernel is a Xen kernel or a normal kernel.
That means that normal kernels don't show up in the grub menu since the 2.6.37-9 kernel.
