Apport does not prompt for package when choosing "Other problem"

Bug Description

The help page "Report a problem in ubuntu" says: "If you have a hardware issue or don't know the name of the program affected, just type ubuntu-bug"

This doesn't work if you select "Other problem" from the popup window, as ubuntu-bug requires the name of a package or PID to continue.

Yes, I do, but when I select "other", which is the correct option, it presents a dialogue box saying "You need to specify a package or PID. Please see help for more information".

So clearly, the help, which says "If you have a hardware issue or don't know the name of the program affected, just type ubuntu-bug", is not helpful ;-)

This appears to be an apport issue - it should prompt you for a package or program when clicking Other rather than complaining and stopping execution.

Connor, I think this is the expected behavior for the application at this time. There are certain applications that you can choose from in a menu, but if the application with the bug is not in that limited list, you need to enter the name of the application.

I think we should expand the documentation to include this step.

Fair enough, I've opened the task for ubuntu-docs as well so we can document this behavior. I think it still needs to be fixed in apport though as a graphical application should not require a command line parameter in order to continue executing in this manner. Currently if you do specify a package or PID at the command line, it skips that interface altogether which makes the "Other problem" button mostly useless at this time.
