Still a problem in Intrepid. Removed 10* and 53* links and still the problem is there. Most annoying is for 8pt Mono fonts in gnome-terminal, which does in no way resemble what the preview and gedit show. Somehow the font spacing is different in gnome-terminal than what it should be.

PS: is it me or is the lcddefault LCD filter much much worse than the "default" LCD filter, whichever that may be. Removing the 11-lcd-filter-lcddefault.conf symlink was a revelation for me, giving me Windows-like crisp fonts.
