It's not only third party apps that isn't showing.. The most apps I used and installed from old ubuntu-software-center doesn't exist in the "gnome-new-one"... I can list more than 50 "simple" (not for advanced users Matthias mentioned) apps that exists in the old one, installed normally on ubuntu 16.04 and didn't and don't exist on the new one. I also did a clean install, but problem remains. It is like the new software center reads a different repository than synaptic, apt, apt-get and old software center..
It isn't an "opinion".. I also use old one or synaptic as a solution... but it is a problem!
