I have Karmic installed on my Eee 2g model and Palimpsest disk utility began to state that my SSD drive is now failing. Thing is that I haven't had internal SSD mounted and this started right after first sleep state of this laptop. Now when computer has been up for couple of hours and looking it right now this utility states that last test completed ok (minute ago) and assessment "passed"
Drive model is 2.0GB ATA Siliconmotion SM223AC
Doesn't really raise the quality of upcoming release if this kind of activity from this utility is common ;)
Likely just needs some very little tweak concerning laptop hibernation when system comes back? |

*edit*
Oh, this hasn't happened just one time. It's happens every single time after hibernation. |
