Viola, it actually worked this time My steps on the same configuration were:
1."sg_start --start /dev/sdX" 2."sg_start --stop /dev/sdX"
And my drive i.e Seagate Backup Plus Drive was powered down for about 1 minute or so then I don't know why or how it restarted
