1. This affects my machines running Ubuntu 14.04 LTS 64-bit. It is a problem with Google account alone - Microsoft Live, Facebook and Twitter accounts linked are remembered. I too have Google's 2-stage validation enabled.
2. At the first login in April, I had authorised with Google's two-stage login. This problem has started possibly with an update (Ubuntu or Google) sometime in July 2014.
3. The other clue is that I do not get Google's login page as I had at the first time entry in April; instead I get two simple textboxes for username (filled-in with my GMail address and grayed), and one for password entry, with Ok, Cancel buttons.
Please let me know how I can provide technical inormation on this bug.
