I just wanted to say thanks, and that this fix really helped. I am learning the new system, just switched from a dual boot system, finally comfortable enough to ditch windows completely. This fix was so simple, cut, paste and that was it. To anyone one out there considering making the leap from windows to Linux, you won't get this kind of support from microsoft.
