I guess that this sort of hinges on which of these two behaviors is better:
* present an error instead of opening a firefox window
* open a firefox window on a completely different screen that the user may not be aware of.
The patch will lead to the latter, and I'm not sure this is any better in the long run. I believe it will lead to more confusion as people keep trying to open windows and firefox "silently" does nothing. They might not realize the window is opening on the other screen. We should definitely fix this the right way by supporting multiple screens. Until then, maybe we can simply provide a more useful error message?
