In Ubuntu 5.10 with configuration pasted above in Firefox 1.0.7 all keyboard shortcuts with letter keys do nothing when russian layout is active. To reproduce set active keyboard layout to russian and in Firefox try to open new tab with ctrl+t -- I can't.
I installed AbiWord 2.4.1 through Synaptic. In reaction to any shortcut with letter with russian layout active AbiWord do wierd thing -- it selects all text in active document. To reproduce set active keyboard layout to russian, in AbiWord select some text and try to copy it with ctrl+c -- I got all text selected instead.
So now I discovered only Firefox and AbiWord have this problem. Shortcuts in russian work in Gedit, OOWriter and Opera without any toubles.
I must note that in previous Ubuntu 5.04 I experienced the same problems in Gedit and OOWriter too.
