ok, maybe i wrote too soon, sorry. in several sites, the anti-aliasing makes the fonts too fuzzy, and unreadable.

the website is www.ynet.co.il (local news site) the problem is that the serifs of the font in use are too pronounced.
a possible solution: use the nachlieli CLM font from the culmus font package.
