Hi William. I've had this problem last year (see: <https://lists.ubuntu.com/archives/apparmor/2016-November/010274.html>) and adding one rule - according to logs messages - fixed this issue. It was:

owner /{dev,run}/shm/org.chromium.* rwk,

A rule, which was added by the latest Firefox update/build (mentioned by You). So, honestly I have not nothing to do - I just have kept the current version. During update there was a message about changes made by the maintainer etc., and I had to decide what to do. Of course I've used "N" or "O" option. That's all. Release: 12.04 LTS.
